Gentoo linux is for noobs

It even has a noob sounding name, really it's the worst distribution of linux ever made.

Gentoo generally gets to latest GNOME/KDE/whathaveyou faster than the other distros, although if thats all you care about & you're willing to compile you'd use Source Mage.
