overclocking pentium D 805

i have heard that you can overclock the pentium d 805 to somewhere around 4ghz and stays cool enough to be fan cooled. anyone have any experience with this chip and know how it handles at high clock speeds? how well does it rival more expensive CPUs when overclocked? and also, would it be worth the money to just get a more expensive chip?

Performance wise, it is extremely mediocre. Even with an overclock. But hey, you can get quite an overclock out of it with just a good HSF. Pentium D is dead. Get a low end AM2 CPU, and wait for K8L, or go Allendale/Conroe.
