Screw huge internal drives. I want to be able to hotswap them when they fail. USB's an excellent cheap method for this. Only a small portion of your storage needs to be fast (i.e. internal) unless you are a professional video editor.

Not so. My old PCs mobos used ISA slots and and has le 'TURBO' button LOL. Me = not a n00b.
