20+4 pin 24 pin confusion

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-05 20:53

My motherboard supports using a 20 + 4 pin PSU or a 24 pin PSU.  My PSU has a 24 pin jack and has a 4 pin connector.
My motherboard has the 4 pin connector near the CPU and a 24 pin in-jack (but you only need 20 pins for it to work).

I know I'm supposed to plug the 24 pin jack in, but am I also supposed to plug in the 4 pin jack too?

Everything I've read doesn't cover this and its the weekend so customer support is bye-bye.  Thanks /comp/

Answered it myself.  I used Google, imagine that.

Don't change these.
