How to remove login screen for Windows XP

I'm using Windows XP, and since I'm the only person using my home PC I want to make it so I don't have to log in at all.  So when I reboot and walk away, XP is all ready for me when I come back. 

I used to have a password, but I removed it.  Now there is no password but there is still a log in screen where I have to press enter with the password field blank.  How can I make it so that there is no log in screen what so ever?

I'm not sure if it's the English term for that feature, but you can hibernate Windows.

It simply saves the RAM content to HD and shuts down not needing any power. Next time you start Windows the desktop is immediately accessable in the state you left it in.

Using the standard XP shut down menu you can choose hibernate by holding down shift and clicking the button where you could formerly select stand-by. In the other shut down menu you can directly do it. It is also possible to make it the standard action for the power button in the energy management.

I read somewhere that completely jumping the login screen is not possible, but I don't remember the source atm.

yes, I know how to hibernate no problem but that's not really what I'm asking about.

The only way I know how to "jump" the login screen was to set up windows with a login but no password at all.  It was like this a few days ago until I had some guests over for a few days, at this point I did put in a password but now that they're gone and I want to remove the login screen I find I cannot.

Have you activated the guest account?

I did a quick google and found something.
Try typing in "CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2" into command line.

I think the checkbox option on the top has been automatically enabled when you entered a password for the first time.

its same for me. except after a few days, windows notices that you don't have a password and skips the login screen. meh
