/comp/ - Playing .mkv files

I recently aquired some porn vids in .mkv format. I obviously downloaded the latest Matroska Pack and attempted to play the file. However when I tried I got an error with WMP. It won't play on Winamp and for some reason I get only audio with VLC Player.

Help and suggestions please!

The standard. WMP has encountered an error and needs to close. Error report type error.

.mkv is only a container. find out what the video/audio is actually encoded with and we might be able to help. mediainfo is an application that can identify codecs, google it.

What kind of porn has dual audio or subs? I just find it useless to use mkv when avi is good enough. Same thing anyway...

Matroska has this awesome utility called MatroskaDiag, just drag the wmp file onto it and it`ll tell you which codecs you're missing.
