swf frame extractor?

How would one go about getting images of specific frames of an swf automatically? I want to make screenshot sequences for flash animations.

i don't think swf files have frames per se.  if it's a flash loop made from a gif, you can probably export the frames as bitmaps, but otherwise, no idea.  fraps + virtualdub?
