windows and anti virus question

Name: Anonymous 2006-07-03 22:01

I'm going to format my computer. but if I do, then I have to install the normal windows with no sp2 pack again. Which means I will have less virus protection. What do you think I should do(I can't update because...erm you know)? and could you recommand me some good anti virus program?

Microsoft "Professional" installers FTW

Name: Anonymous 2006-07-05 10:14

Microsoft Installer is bloated enterprise professional software. Besides, installing is for idiots and "deploying" is for enterprise-grade idiots. If you are a man, you'll make it so that:

1. Installation process: Copy directory
2. Configuration: INI file in installation directory
3. Uninstallation process: Delete directory

Don't change these.
