Shell Alternatives for Windows XP

I'm thinking of trading in explorer.exe for a better shell. But the only shells i know of (that are worth it) are litestep and bb4win. But i haven't used those in years.

So, how about some ideas?

I'm serious and no, I don't plan on starting a meme. Just give it a try for about an hour to learn how to use it, and you'll save days of work through your life. You don't have much to lose so try it. You'll come back here to thank Anonymous I suggested it.

When I used Windows, I tried alternate shells a few times and always came crawling back to Explorer. It just works well, and is stable\reliable\doesn't require ten modules and five hand-configured ini files to get working (I think I'm referencing my experience of litestep here.) So I kinda feel you should give up now, and switch to Linux if you want a huger variety of wacky interfaces to choose from.
