Windows is fucked

We got a bunch of computers here at our house. All are connected to the internets via a router, and all are connecting fine (even the one i'm typing with right now!). However, one of the computers with Windows on it isn't connecting to the internet.

It is connected to the network all fine and dandy, in which I can see it on the network and can file share with it. It just isn't connecting to the net. I can see that it is trying to send out data pockets, but it isn't recieving a single one back.

My guess is that since I haven't been running any virus/adware/spyware scanners on it it just got fucked up on its own by dastardly leet haxxors on the internet, so there really isn't much I can do.

Is there any temporary fix till I can simply reinstall windows and take better care next time. >_<

did you get your mousepad drivers?

try uninstalling and reinstalling the ethernet port drivers
