Copy/paste fails

Sometimes in Firefox ctrl+c refuses to copy text.  Highlighting the text, no copy option is available, as if the selection weren't text.

I also notice apostrophe opens the search menu in Firefox for no reason.

it happens when firefox imports opera settings, it sometimes does that
