Wtf Print Spooler

Trying to install a gaybo lexmark for the company computer.

Cant even get to driver installation because "Print Spooler needs to be activated"

Sure, activate it--- Disappears in 5 seconds.
Doesnt start up with windows, doesnt stay when you run it..
And the computer doesnt have MSCONFIG for some reason.


Windows 2000 computer. Please help..

install linux

check event log

administrative tools->services. set the print spooler to automatic. msconfig is just a utility that puts some stuff together, you can do everything it does manually.
