This just happened to me a few moments ago. Fresh profile, fresh install.
It seems to be a problem with caching and 4chan's frames. Opera fails with 4chan again. Keep it up fanboys, but I think it's clear you recognize how tacky and flawed your holywar is.

Yeah, you have to configure it a bit (PROTIP: Tools > Preferences). But once you've done that, it will be infinitely better than all other browsers.

It will refresh the page that specifies the frame set rather than the individual frame. Firefox will do the same unless you right-click and select 'This Frame > Reload Frame'. I do not have access to Opera at the moment but I'm plenty sure there is a similar option to do so either on the context menus or the right-click menu.
so far in my unbiased trial of the two opera is superior
i'll keep firefox for the 4chan extension and 4chan browsing, but for porn and normal web browsing/reserach, opera kills.
people who adamantly praise 1 over the other are just trolling, they are so similar you have to split hairs to find any major inconveniences.

why would you want to waste precious disk space on a browser? if you are using a legitimate os, it already has one installed
internet explorer is one of the best browsers out there. it is conveniently integrated into the os, resulting in better functionality. it can make up for lack of skill on the webmaster's part, such as automatically playing movie files when they are tagged as images. the installation of useful toolbars is a breeze, and activex makes life on the net more convenient. why would you bother with anything else?
My Opera 9 is still acting wierd. It won't load up any web pages. I've already tried re-installing it a couple of times and it still won't load anything. any suggestions?
