HD fucked foreveR?

i was awoken this morning by a clicking sound made by my PC. I dont know how long it has been going, but when i first noticed it i stayed in bed for like 10 minutes.

i reboot the PC and it refuses to reboot, says my HD status is "BAD". Is it the end?

Well, strictly speaking the read/write head doesn't hold the magnets; they are in fact attached to the hard disk body and surround the voice coil on the actuator arm. But they are indeed fun to play with. I love taking dead hard disks apart.
