Windows trouble

I have tried and tried to install Windows 98 on a computer I have.

I have come to the conclusion that I have a bad CD, and I need to find a place to download an iso so I can burn it.  I have a legit CD key, I just need a CD.

Can you help me out?

use windows 2000 instaed and disable some services you don't need.

I've ran Windows 2000 successfully on lower specs (slower processor and less HD space in particular).

You'll notice stuff related to WMI and the MMC will load slowly, but that's all. Everything else will run fine... for a computer with that much RAM.

Set all unnecessary services to Manual to save some RAM. Don't use system tray bullshit because system tray bullshit is bullshit. Don't use Internet Explorer (i.e. don't get malware), and tell autoupdaters to kiss it, and you'll be fine.

ive run windows xp on less. currently running it on a 450mhz pentium proc 256mb ram, 2gb hard drive, and ive run it before on a 250 mhz cyrix mII proc, with 256mb ram, and a 4gb harddrive.

xp running in classic mode with unneeded services disabled is just as good as win 2k, however activation becomes an issue, so i suggest a corporate edition.

Windows XP can be run with some incredibly low settings.
