opera kids are so jealous of FX's extensions it's not even funny anymore. go back to tweaking your cramped, overloaded, unusable mess that you call a browser. i'll enjoy my autofill urls, Find bar, adless pages, standard-compliant shortcuts, and 4chan-compatible user experience over here.

anyone know how to get autofill and linkify in opera? I also can't get the javascripts to work either after an hour of struggling.
right click refresh anyone? broken javascript loading?
enjoy your incompatible browser faggot. only people who hardly use 4chan could bear Opera. I used it with a fresh Opera/XP install and it did this, so no excuses noob.

I'm on 4chan around 6 hours a day. I don't see what problems you're refering to, and I'm using the latest weekly.

Mine works perfect too, using older 9.0 beta build. Some of the newer and older versions do not work correctly on 4chan. No clue why the programmers keep messing it up and fixing from build to build, doesn't bother me though. All I'm missing is 'Widgets'.

I've never had a problem surfing 4chan with Opera. Can someone point out what's wrong?

if opera doesn't fix it it isn't broken

well for some versions, refresh this page while using 4chan with sidebar frame. Use the refresh button in toolbar or f5 if you please.
If you have the right version it will refresh correctly with this page still in the window, if you however use a wrong version it will either refresh to front page or the page will be completely blank.

"wrong version?"
what kind of development team is this? 9.8501 and refresh doesn't work. Javascript also breaks for loaded pages (split second before it works itself out, but it still occurs.)
Firefox 1.5 is still the best choice browser for 4chan, as I see it. Unless you guys are employing some sort of ini fix to resolve the issues stated, Opera isn't usable for any 4chan user.

You could have fooled me. Could you describe the broken javascript?

I did mention I have no idea why they do this, but for the record, build
8212 is what I use and it completely lacks this problem, no ini fix.
This is a beta though, so I guess that might explain a little. Not really meant for everyday browsing, I would imagine the final version will have these problems ironed out.
It's a slightly unfair comparing a beta to a final version - Deer Park (prerelease of 1,5) had the same problem as Opera where it refreshes the main page in frame instead of the page open when pressing F5 altough it definately did not have a problem such as the one where the page does not load at all. I do however find the beta 9 of Opera better than the release version... so perhaps it adds up afterall.
Also, I have not checked if they fixed this problem in the final version 1,5 Firefox but chances are they did.

Stable is out. The javascript bug is fixed. Reload remains. As does "Create a new topic" bug on discussion boards.
Any fix for the reload? Any 4chan extension? LOL Any DownThemAll? Any FireFusk for stalking? Any ad blocking? Any decent dictionary search? Any way to remove the spammed bookmarks from my default installs?

I just tried that. Works fine.
Dictionary and ad blocking work as well. What do the rest do?

No. If "works fine" means "the big orange box is there, everything is 100% normal."

That's gay, then. I'll certainly not be getting the stable if it works worse than a beta.
Dunno what you mean by spammed bookmarks, do you install it on a clean system really often for some reason? I deleted default bookmarks many months ago when I installed the first free version of Opera and they haven't come back since. Ad blocking exists but it's not really that great unless they changed it in the release.

Uh, what? Look man, you keep listing these problems I've never seen. What orange box?
