What the fuck is this thing ? Everytime I open a folder containing video files.  Explorer will crash and this drwats32.exe will appear in the task manager. After I terminate this program, windows will work properly again.

DrWatson is some windows crash analysis tool or something.  i think this registry modification will disable it under windows xp (you can probably disable it in group policy editor or something as well) - execute it under a command window

reg add "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\DrWatson" /v CreateCrashDump /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

alternatively delete or rename the file.

Thanks, I'm also wondering if the crash was caused by it ? No ?

unlikely ... when a program crashes, windows can be set to invoke a debugger instead of popping up the dialogue "We're sorry for the inconvenience...".  if you do not have a debugger installed but activate the option (it got activated somehow in your system), Dr. Watson is the default "debugger".

Don't change these.
