Hard drive going apeshit.

Please help! My porn is at stake. So here's the problem. My hard drive is awesome and I love it but tons of files I had saved on it are now corrupt. Mostly images. They'll show up as half-grey or as rainbowcolored shitty weirdness. It's pissing me off. I can't buy a new hard drive because I'm broke like a pornstars pussy. Everytime I boot up Winblows XP it says some shit about orphaned files and blahdy blah fuckshit. I just want to save my porn. What can I do experts? Is there anything? What would you do if you were in my situation?

Get Linux.

Try GetDataBack for NTFS (despite the n00bish name). This has saved me a fewtimes. Alternatively, try Linux/BSD livecd. I've used them to read and burn files from fucked up FAT and NTFS partitions as well.

if all else fails (and i mean it, try this after you've tried everything else)

start menu -> run -> cmd -> chkdsk c: /f
replace c with your drive letter
