I'm moving out into my own place soon and I'm looking to buy a PC to just surf the net, watching anime & listen to music on when I'm off work. I don't have a single clue about building a PC so I just want to go to a store and buy one, any suggestions?
My ideal budget is around £800.

for 800£ you can get a decent gaming-machine. 400£ is more realistic and even that is much for just surfing and watching anime. you could just buy the cheapest pc you can find. just make sure it has 512mb ram. then buy a big hdd to store your anime and music, if you think you need it.

that's a lot of money for a computer, you could build a good gaming pc with 800 us dollars

you're foregetting the fact that in UK most distributor just doesn't bother changing the price correctly according to the exchange rate they just reduce the american price by 20% and then slap the pound sign to it
