Microphone input & outside noise

Simple question: Is there any program or some type of software that can dynamically remove speaker output from microphone input? I'm asking because I use software like Skype and Ventrilo to talk to friends, but I hate wearing headphones, so they usually end up hearing themselves via my mic from my speakers. Is there a program that can 'remove' the speaker output from microphone input in real time, sort of the way noise cancelling headphones might work? Thanks.

I think there's one called ClearSpeech, but if I remember it requires a PCI card for that purpose.
