I HATE ITUNES!

Ok, I got a iMac, and I'm wanting to play the music on my PC via the network off of my iMac.
The first time was easy to add the songs.
But now, every time I update, I need to clear my library and re-add to prevent duplicates.
Is there a music player for OS X 1.3 that allows a "watched folder" that I can have it re-scan for new/changed/deleted music, much like how winamp does?

There is none.  You use it the way Steve Jobs thinks you will use it and it's all good.  Deviate outside of the box and you're shit out of luck.

Wait a min - OS X 10.1.3? Fucking upgrade you selfish piece of shit!

How to listen via network - Both have same version iTunes(v6), open necessary port on iMac, launch iTunes on both, set Prefs on iMac to share music - Set main puter to look for shared music, reset router if it doesn't work at first.

Opps, the 0 didn't go through.
10.3.9 is the version
it's one of the original iMacs, so no 10.4 for me :(

And I don't want iTunes running on my system. The whole reason I'm playing music off my iMac instead of my PC is so that it doesn't lag me with I'm gaming.
Running itunes on the PC to share defeats the whole purpose.

Anyway, just found this, so I'm happy:

You still have the duplicate import issue when adding new songs unless you let iTunes handle organizing your mp3 directory.

I hate Itune ever since I used it and I don't see how anyone can use it, unless they never seen the free media apps available.
