I'm using Borland C++ to code, and was wondering how to make a little program, help to make the code or the code itself is very kind.
How do i code a program that handles passwords? It shall be in a file that every person with a account should be able to access(Not over network), the file should contain Login name, Password, and other rights the person have. The rights is : 1. Admin. 2. Nothing special.
At the login the program shall ask for a Login name and a Password. max 3 different tries to enter the program, than it closes.(IE. I failed to type in right password 3 times than it exits.) the program shall say what login attempt it is and how many is left. If someone without Admin rights login, it shall show the message "Welcome". And here the person shall be able to change password, or exit. (Some other stuff that i am going to add myself later). if the person chooses exit, all files that have been opened by the program is closed.
If a Admin is logged in the admin can get a report about what the Non-admins have done and the Admin shall have access to make new accounts and change password for all accounts and even remove accounts. All Additions and Deletions have to be be confirmed by a message "Are you sure?" and answered with a "Yes" or "No".
