Uh, I think there's WMV support for Lunix.

Either way PLEASE, use Matroska+DivX (the format everybody should be using) or OGG Media or AVI, but do not, I repeat, DO NOT use ShitTime or RealShit!

avi edit was a nice simple frame based editing program. Believe it went pay only though

To edit videos you need a Mac, it is not possible on anything else.
