Ok, I keep getting the same error trying to run Battlefield 1942, Battlefield Vietnam, or Halo: The instructions at "0x0172d6b2" referenced memmory at "0x44892430" The memory could not be read.
WTF is wrong? And before you say "buy the real thing" I have the BF disks sitting right next to me.

Memory timings are changed in BIOS settings, usually you'll be looking for "DRAM settings" or something similiar. Hope you know what RAM you got. You can try checking it on newegg, or use it's links to manufacturers' sites. Are you running your RAM in dual channel? If so, did you check that it was approved to run dual channel in your motherboard? If I run my cheap Rosewill ram in dual channel on my A7V mobo, it crashes games.
