Changing color on taskbar and start menu

Yeah Im lazy and I suck and posted this on /b/ a while back.
Anyway I want to change the color on taskbar and start menu to a nice shade of midnight black, and preferably have decent that matches.
Now I got windowblinds, but it seems to be a bit bloated and I noticed some slowdown also, it seems to be stuck on windows classic mode, and cant revert back to windows xp mode.
Im sure I can fix it if I uninstall the damn thing, but I might not if its the best free windows skin changer out there.
So yeah, is there a better program? And whats a good skin/
But, should windowblinds be the best option, whats a good skin for that?

It took me a while to figure out because I am not a comp-u-nerd, but it was well worth it.

The installer routines for h4xx0ring uxtheme.dll are much more user-friendly now. It's no harder to apply than installing any other program, and comes bundled with a selection of skins of variable shinytude into the bargain (I love Watercolor theme - sleek and understated, like the Classic Windows theme but without looking so ancient).

You should buy some crayons to color windows. Why are you using Windows? Gross. Litestep is sexy if you are smart enough to Mod it yourself... and it is free!

Most people think Windows is Explorer.exe . Funny enough, a good part of the time I'm running Windows I don't have Explorer.exe loaded, and use just a console to launch my shiz. I mainly use Explorer for the nice simple taskbar and the start menu (the classic one, not the fagged up XP shit).
