IIS authentication

hay /comp/, I've been trying to get my virtual directories in IIS without having to resort to dot net. Googled a bit, and found troxo's iispassword isapi plugin--problem is, their site is down so I could not get it off them... So, if troxo wont be really goin up really soon. Is there a better way of having every file in your virtual directory withtout getting IISpassword and resorting to .net?
