Weird Problem (with Daemon Tools?)

After installing Daemon tools and a virtual drive, I've come across a problem.

My hard drive light stays on (no blinking or anything), the computer slows down a lot, and my browser crashes, etc. Yes, I'm using XP. Yes, I'm a n00b. I'm not 100% it's Daemon Tools' fault, but it only happened after I installed it.

use alcohol instead. it's not exactly superior, but it's simpler to use.

Alcohol manged to fuck up 2 seperate computers when I installed it. BSOD'ed them to death.

Never heard of those symptoms before, got enough virtual memory? Does the file you've mounted actually exist and is it corrupt in any way?

Never had any problem with Alcohol or D-Tools on any machine. Are you running XP64? Or do you have like a Starforce protected game installed?
