I'd run ctorrent or BitTorrent from source--it's a collection of Python scripts, so you could run "bittorrent-curses.py foo.torrent". Works great. If you want to torrent multiple files, put them in a directory by themselves, and run "launchmany-curses.py --saveas_style 2 ." The "--saveas_style 2" option tells BT to use whatever download name the torrent specifies; run "launchmany-curses.py" by itself to see the many options.
