What's a good program to copy and save parts of MP3 files? It doesn't have to be free; even a trial version of something will do.

For lossy formats such as mp3 it's better to work with the samples directly; audicity will decompress and recompress, causing loss of quality.
Search google for mp3+cut or somesuch.
