Cannot surf while Bittorrent is on

hey guys i have a 1mb connection with a estimated max dl speed of about 100kbps. however if my azureus is on no matter what my download speed will be (even if i am downloading at 10kbps), websites take forever to load, if at all.

when it fails to load it just gives me to log in screen to connect to my ISP. wtf? of course my internet is still on.

it is fine if my BT is off. it shouldnt be this way. is there any way around it?

Normally you need upload and download to surf the web. You send requests (upload) to a server and get data (download, eg. websites with images etc.). 1mbit should have about 16 KB upload (max). Just cap your upload in your bittorrent client to 10 KB or 5 KB and the rest will be used for surfing the web.
