Problem

Hello, everyone.

For the past couple of days my computer has been acting strangely. Sometimes Firefox would not load pages, and it would just say "Done" at the bottom left corner of the window. I would have to restart my computer to fix this. Now, last night I decided to run Spybot, and 1/4 into the scan my computer goes into a blue screen and gives me an error message. What follows is part of what it gave me: 0X0000008E (0XC0000005, 0XFCBC9703, 0XFAD0BC70, 0X00000000).
It also read: windrnVT.sys - Adress FCBD9703 base at FCBD8000.

During the blue screen at the very bottom it says "Dumping physical memory" and starts counting from 1 to 90. When it reaches 90 my computer restarts.
After restarting my I get the Microsoft Windows message which says "The system has recovered from a serious error" and asks me if I want to send the error report to Microsoft. Then Spybot S-D Resident claims that a change in settings was made in "KernelFaultCheck" in the startup global entry or something like that.

Help would be very much appreciated.

Run memtest, it might be bad memory.
fsck your hard drive, it might be a corrupt filesystem.

Original poster here. I should also note that for the past couple of months my C: drive has been randomly spinning really fast and being really loud for a couple of minutes and then returning to normal, even when it's just sitting there doing nothing.
