Not much to say there, chief. Once windows got as stable and as powerful as unix, while being accessible to grandma, it was all over but the shouting for the whole unix paradigm.

haha I swear I was about to say the same thing.

Anyway, I don't think BSD is dying. Apple even contributes to FreeBSD through OS X, right? And even if Linux becomes more and more popular, BSD still has Linux compatibility.
