Windows

So my laptop was all fuxxord after I let my sister on it for then an hour. I mean she tottaly recked the fucking thing.
Anyway My friend came and reinstalled windows ( as if not even ever attempted it before ) anyway I sat and wathced him do and he said it was ok e.t.c last night I booted it up to reinstall the drivers for our ISP and it said " Please insert bootable disk " does this mean the disk he used to reinstall windows is acting as a livecd?

I don't think so.  I think it just needs the original disc.  LiveCDs merely set up totally from the ram.  Your average Windows install disc doesn't do that.

depending on your BIOS, it may be trying to boot off of a floppy or CD you have inserted rather than off the hard drive.  just remove the disk and insert it after the computer's booted up.
