onscreen numlock/capslock confirmation

Name: Anonymous 2006-04-11 9:30

ello /c/ I come with a question.

so somehow I made my crappy dell keyboard show me onscreen whenever I press capslock or numlock. It comes up as a little grey box for about 4 seconds bottom right screen and its bothering the fuck out of me since I have no idea how to get rid of it :\ any ideas? I tried google and all that shit but it gave me no answers.

Thanks!

Its some software that comes with your dell that does this. somewhere there will be a multimedia keyboard program or something like it and you can disable it through some options in the program.

Ive never owned a dell so i dont know what software but it will be easy to find like somewhere in your system tray probably

As a general rule, get rid of all the bullshit that comes with branded computers - background processes, system tray pieces of shit, media centards, etc. - as long as they are not absolutely, absolutely required for the system to work. So get rid of all the Dell bullshit software you've got.

This is one of the reasons why I don't use laptops. They come with shit included. I like it excluded.
