Years ago I started using Winamp as media player, because the standard windows mediaplayer sucked hard. Then I found out how practical the new wmplayer 8 with it's playlist features was - already sorted by artist, genre, whatever I wanted. After taking a long music break I rejoined Winamp again to find out later how cool the rating feature and automatic playlists of wmplayer 9 are. not to forget the search. although my videos run on bsplayer and my streams on winamp/bsplayer/mplayerclassic I organized my music collection in wmplayer. Damn, I never wanted to use wmplayer! Do you know any alternatives that offer almost the same ammount of features in playlist management? cut out itunes - I refuse to use apple products on my linux and windows machines
