Invisible Partition. :/

I recently got a new HD for my notebook. I split it into two partitions, C: and D:.

Appearently I did it wrong, because I don't see D: drive. All I have is my C: with half the space.

Can someone help me out here?

The D drive probably isn't formatted yet. XP does that if you were using the utility on the install disk.

Go to Control Panel > Admin > Computer Management > Disk Management and you can see what you've done to fix it.

you probably made two primary partitions and windows hid the second one, would like to help you but don't know the english windows terms to guide you through :[
