CPU decision

Dear Masters of /G/

Would a Intel Centrino Core Duo 1.66Ghz be better or eual in speed to a Intel Pentium M 760 2 Ghz? (I would assume yes because Dual Core CPU has its advantages over a Single Core CPU) Also, Lenovo T60 = WIN or GTFO?

Get an AMD.

I wish I could do that (I hate Intels), but Thinkpads only offer Intels and other laptops don't have all the software that Lenovo has (fingerprint reader, HDD roll cage, HDD accelerometer, Secure delete, etc.)

I've got a Toshiba sattellite with an AMD K6-2. it's the most stable fucking computer I've ever used.

Funny that. My laptop has an Athlon XP, yet still has three hours of battery life.
