360 and new TV, or new computer tower

Name: Anonymous 2006-04-02 3:50

hey guys I have saved up $1600USD and have two options get a new TV and a Xbox 360 for about $400 for the Xbox360 and $800 for the TV, or build a new computer tower for $1200 to $1300.

I really love to build computers, but theres some really cool games for the
360, but my computer is 3 years old and upgrading it is useless, but I really do need a new TV my curent one doesnt have AV ports on it. but theres also some awsome computer games that are coming out and the games
I have on my computer right now dont run well. so /comp/ please give suggestions

Already have HDTV, to watch TV and DVD's on....So, I don't include that into the price of the system. I use it for other stuff than games.

Also, you can get a HDTV for less than $1000, if you want.

Right now. Phillips sells a 30 in Widescreen Integrated HDTV model for $699.99 right now and the 26 inch model cost a nice amount less.

Plus, I said that it should cost about $1000 to build a PC to match what the 360 has. We are in agreement here...

Of course, I don't care about what the monitor resolution on a computer is. I have a computer for doing work on. I want a console for games. Personally, M$ SHOULD have built in the capability to connect Flat Screen displays to the 360, out of the box.
