Why is it, that all of my anti-virus programs have the ability to detect viruses, yet half of them can't even fix the problem. SRSLY, PLOZ.
What good are you doing for me?! You detect my viruses once, I scan again; no detection.
So whats going on now? I'm left in the dust with a virus infected PC; my anti-virus is doing total shit for me and I have no idea what's going on.
Fuck Sun Microsystems; all of the virus infected files are Java files; EVERY TIME IT'S ANOTHER JAVA DIRECTORY, FILE, WHATEVER THE FUCK IT IS. Fuck Java; Fuck Sun and their insecure shit.
One of you fags had better give me a solution before I smash one of you with my cock-hammer

Stop going to soapboys.com

Pfft
I've never been to "soapboys.com" I have a general list of sites that I visit every day; Newgrounds, Joystiq, Digg, DeviantArt, 4chan, Lik-Sang, etc...
I rarely stray from this list too. So, yeah, it's rarely the user's fault for getting a virus. I mean, I don't intentionally get viruses and when I do because of a random misfortune; I assume that I'm safe because I have anti-virus software.
I'm tired of egotistical geeks thinking that they are perfect and gods. Fuck you, get out of my face.

Use a firewall and you are 100% secure (as long as you open no ports). Hardware firewall. Anything else is a joke.
Uh.. that completely restricts all network access, right?
EDIT : I NEED A PRACTICAL SOLUTION

It only restricts incoming connections. You can still establish connections to external hosts.
For some applications you might want to allow anyone to connect to your computer however, open just those ports then. And make sure that the daemon listening on the port is secure.

This is the most retarded thread I have ever read.
Please, explain the retardation. Otherwise, get the fuck out if you're going flame people.

Stop going to Newgrounds. I stopped going there after I got a virus warning message saying that one of the pop-ups was trying to install a trojan. That's probably where you got all this.
I'm not familiar with most of the sites you mention. Are the others also "free" cartoon / entertainment sites that are littered with a million popups, some small but non-trivial number of which are browser-hijackers using ActiveX to install God only knows what?

PROTIP: If you use a decent browser, websites cannot give you viruses, nor can they give you unwanted popups.

PROTIP: Nothing connected to the Internet is 100% secure, especially not a web browser.
Use your computer responsibly. Don't install viruses, read slashdot and security focus and be sure you are careful when a new vuln. is released for your browser.
Don't install the cool cursors, free smilies and toolbars. But the guy who said get a hardware firewall is right. Just something with NAT is good, open ports for torrents and sh-
