The fastest internet connection available to comsumers (and not some university professors and students who invest thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours of work) is Verizon FIOS at ~15 Mbps downstream and ~8 Mbps upstream. It's plenty fast for anything anyone nowadays would need to do online, let alone fuck around on 4chan.

Verily you are kidding? Cheap 100Mbps connections are old news. 1Gbps+ will cost a bit though, unless you are in Japan.

I have 512kbps upspeed and 64kbps downspeed. that's a pretty fast connection around here, and the fastest you can get is 1.5 or 2Mbps

Almost all countries have beer. And most of said countries are also not 90% desert.

Australian "beer" is like sex in a canoe.

My connection at college that comes free with the apartment allows me to download at 6 MB per second (bytes, not bits). It's pretty awesome. Most servers don't even upload to me that fast, but it's great when I need something large from a fast site like Fileplanet.

I think you've got that the wrong way round.
american beer is sex in a canoe. australian beer is infinitely better. that's not saying much tho, cos all beer is still piss.

Australian beer is slightly superior to American beer, but as you correctly point out that's not saying much. I haven't got anything the wrong way round because I'm from England, where real ale comes from.

as in the warm flat beer that the english people drink? you call that superior?

Don't blame us because you don't know the difference between lager, stout, bitter, ale, etc., and just lump them all under the name "beer".
