Working on my Geforce 6800.

I unlocked my Geforce 6800 Vanilla recently and saw a great improvement in preformance. Doom 3 never goes below 40 FPS now on max settings (I have a 3200+ 64-bit processer) and quake 4 only went as low as 23, and this was on that was on the hanibal ship. That's easily the most taxing level in quake 4.

So tomorrow i'm going to install my NV5 and overclock my card to try and squeeze out another 5-10 FPS. I'm redownloading 3dmark06 to see what real improvement I have gotten in this benchmark compared to the last month.

I've made it about 30% faster from both unlocking pipelines and overclocking my LeadTek GeForce 6800 from 325/700 to 402/853 which is stable with just 40% of the fan speed.

you managed to make it faster? GJ. now don't dick with it and hope it stays that way.

These are the results I have gotten a few minutes ago. I'll post the overclocked results tomorrow once I get around to it. Good night all.

I have a radeon 9550 256MB ddr RAM overclocked from 250/200 to 429.00/255.00 . I overclocked it with ATI tool 0.25 beta 14, and the drivers are the newest Omega drivers. If I flash the bios to a 9600XT I could probly get an even better clock on the card.

After I OC'ed the card I went out and bought a GPU cooler and ram sinks to put on the card to keep it cool, it only had a passive heat sink before.

Before I overclocked it, my computer couldnt play HL 2 with a good frame rate above 30, now it plays with the fram rate at 50+
and the highest the fram rate has ever gotten was 94 FPS. The settings on HL2 are all on high just theres no AA or other stuff   like that.
