Data Recovery

So I take my computer in to get it fixed and they get it fixed. I get home and find my second hard drive formatted. <insert frustration here>

Is there any way I can recover this data after the drive's been formatted? I mean, I don't care how much it costs or anything, I just need to know if it's possible.

Spinrite is not an undeletion/unformatting tool, idiot.

You want something like Uneraser:
http://www.uneraser.com/quest12.htm

But you will also need an extra hard drive at least as large as the amount of data you need to recover (or have that amount of space free on your primary drive) - you can't rewrite the recovered data to the source drive until it's all been recovered. Get this idiot friend of yours to provide one (even if it's just temporarily).
