I've got an image with two normal layers and a text layer. Photoshop will only let me save to different types of photoshop formats, raw, and tiff. what happened to my gif and jpeg?

have you tried rasterizing/flattening it?
if all else fails nuke your app data directories. It's probably a setting you fucked with.

Are you working in 16 bit colour? If so, change it to 8 bit then try again.

that did the trick. For some reason it was in Lab color, not RGB.
