Adding unsupported hardware on Novell

Ok, for our final project we have to have a Novell server, and none of us have ever touched it. I found out how to add the drivers in the install, but how do slots work? I'm used to seeing hardware mapped out with 2:12:0 for busid's, but in Novell it seems to be a bit different. Thanks to anyone who can help me in advance.
