PDF Decrypter

Can anyone tell me where I can find a freeware or unrestricted evalution version of a program that will decrypt the permissions password on a pdf file?  I have a GBA Flash card reader that can be used to view .txt and I have several books in .pdf format that I can't convert to text because the .pdf permissions blocks editing and copying of the file.

Lol PDF, that shitty gay ass format.

Google pdftotext (or pdftohtml) to find a program that will turn those shitty marketing and otherwise useless Adobe pieces of shit into something usable.

Compile your PDF viewer without DRM.

Viewer = gay, text or HTML output you can pipe to Perl, browse with your own CSS, etc. = what sane people wants

Have you actually tried these tools? I have. pdftotext would be better named pdftogarbage, and pdftohtml just converted each page into a jpeg and put them in an html page which was bizarrely titled "distributed systems lecture notes".

I use pdftotext to index bullshit files (PDFs) and pdftohtml without background images (just text) to read several of them.

And sometimes, because some faggot thinks a PDF looks so professional and kewl and even though I'm in the web I'm offered a queer PDF file, if I really, absolutely need to read it, I see if I don't mind losing 80 MB of system cache memory, and launch Adobe's apeshit software to browse that POS.

Wow, what a bunch of elitists. I love pdf. And I love the way it shows in every system exactly the way you want it. You don't have to worry about missing fonts as well.

I love how so many people are such control freaks that when they provide information they insist it must be presented in a certain way. This is the same pathology that causes all those blogs with the horrible narrow single fixed width columns.

Oh hey, it's my work, it better show it exactly like I wanted to. Why do you think so many people use PDFs if it was so inferior? It does exactly what they want it to do. And it's not all about presenting online. For example if I wanted to print a document in another computer like my Maths Research project to hand in but the computer doesn't have the application I used to write it up like LATEX, then the pdf will conserve everything. So fuck you and your elitism. gb2/linux/ with your shitty applications and gaming.

Printing is one thing, sending to others is another.
Also when I read your first sentence I assumed you were being sarcastic. Then I read the rest.

Don't change these.
