As in download speeds? No noticeable difference when the tracker is working. When it isn't, Azureus is superior (more popular -> more people to dl from via trackerless support).

azureus will connect you the best to the most people versus bitcomet.
utorrent has more users as late, though, so utorrent's on top IMO.

Bitcomet will get you banned from some trackers and blacklisted by peers faster.

Seconded. Azureus sucks up anything up to 10% of my CPU and god knows how much memory when churning away. µTorrent doesn't even register on the CPU usage (okay, it jumps to 1% occasionally...). I was an instant Azureus-µTorrent convert.

rtorrent owns all! Ncurses + libtorrent = unbeatable for speed and cpu/mem usage.

rTorrent is pretty nice. Some of the quickest downloads I've had came from people seeding usin it.
But since I'm on windows, µTorrent ftw~

Why does everyone hate Bitcomet, anyway?

i'd say azureus to answer the question but fuck that, get uTorrent

Azureus DHT > uTorrent DHT

I get my connection speeds maxed out with bitcomet most of the time, but mine is hexed to act different from normal bitcomet so I don't get banned. Oh and mine don't have DHT support and that's a bit bothersome sometimes.

Which is quite hilarious because azureus produces the most "connection spam" out of all the BT clients
