Two problems. 

Hay guys, the other day when I was installing games on my computer (half-life 2, ut2k4, etc.) I wasn’t able to play them afterwards. The system would reset after it’d try and go into full-screen mode. I did a few tests with dxdiag and it fails at the direct3d and full screen version of the white bouncing square. o_o; So uh, then after a while, my AMD Sempron 3000+ processor was somehow turned into an Athlon MP 2000+ …? I’m confused. Any thoughts, comments, suggestions?

try reinstalling the newest version of directx and check your BIOS settings to reset the processor speed

It was the drivers that I installed.

I still don't get what the problem with the processor is though.

Don't change these.
