iv been running norton antivirus 2006 for a few weeks now, loving it. just this morning, while surfing quicktime/trailers, norton popped up and said norton was a virus and is now blocking all quicktime content.
every trailer i tray to watch now comes up with a question mark, and i cant find any setting to allow quicktime to run. any help please?

--first, i ment quicktime was being blocked by norton, not the other way around.
i just tried uninstalling and updating quicktime, because norton's website listed the quicktime warning as an actual threat. but now it still gives me the error, and i still see nothing on the trailer page.

Quicktime sucks. I don't like norton either, but this time it's doing a good job.
Just when I was going to say Norton sucks, I find it actually has a good feature.

No seriously, stop using Norton. That's the best advice you're gonna get.

"Stop using Norton"
"Quicktime Sucks"
"Use Lunix, lol"
Well 2/3 isn't bad really...I was sure someone would have said the last one though...

Norton sucks. Get Avast. It's free, and good.

knows nothing of networking.
the reason you're not getting any virii from behind windows firewall is because the damn thing is blocking out EVERYTHING. even useful stuff such as FTP and SSH. seriously, ffs, windows firewall is more of a hindrance than a help.

Not saying there aren't better firewall products out there; but you ARE aware you can make exceptions to allow access to FTP or manually to SSH (or whatever else) right?

So why is Windows Firewall not opening anything except HTTP a bad thing? >>10 sounds like one of those people who thinks the Internet is the thing he opens by clicking on the blue "E" on his desktop.
