DVD errors

Ever hate it when you put in a backup DVD you made and you get a CRC error on one or two of the files when copying it?

Why does it do that when after it burned succesfully a few months ago everything checked out fine!

is there any way to save your data from these seemingly random CRC read errors?

Or are you just screwed? (This happens on all sorts of DVD's not just shitty ones, Taiyo Yuden, Ritek and Memorex ive all had it happen to me on)

I was going to say that's what you get for buying Princo, but then it seems to be your burner. Get a NEC ND-3xxx or 4xxx and you'll have a Plextor quality burner for a non-Plextor quantity price.

And don't worry about Ritek and Memorex, just use Taiyo Yudens.

Hmm ok thought maybe it was a deterioration of the DVD's or something

My Burner is 3 years old after all (prob burnt like 600 DVD's / CD's)
