I have an iBook. Safari/Konqueror routinely outperform Mozilla/Firefox/Galeon, on both MacOS X and Linux.
I've already had people tell me I'm nuts for suggesting that KHTML-based browsers run better than Gecko-based ones, at least on my configuration.
Thing is, I'm for minimalistic stuff, but it seems like all lightweight browsers pretending to be serious have to use Gecko underneath. Yes I know about lynx/w3m, thanks.
Does anybody know of a KHTML-based browser for Linux, that doesn't need half of KDE loaded to open a window?
